Position Summary | The Police Sergeant position is a uniformed first line supervisory position and is responsible for ensuring that Campus Police Officers perform in alignment with the mission and direction of the Campus Public Safety Office while complying with constitutional guidelines, policies, state laws, and a variety of complex administrative operational and programmatic functions Supervision is exercised over Campus Police Officers and within certain assignments, civilian personnel. Campus Police Sergeants work independently in performing regularly assigned duties under general direction of a Lieutenant or other higher ranking administrators.
