Our successful candidate should be a graduate from an accredited university holding a B.S., Doctorate, MA, or MS in Physical Therapy, recognized by the APTA. The candidate must also hold a current in-state license or be a registered Physical Therapist.
Our Physical Therapist should be able to:
- Conduct a thorough physical therapy evaluation, following the MD’s orders.
- Devise complete treatment plans that cover long and short-term goals, frequency, duration, and treatment modalities.
- Make sure MD orders for evaluations, treatments, re-certifications, and discharges are intact.
- Provide comprehensive patient treatment with modalities and adjust treatment as required, adhering to all precautions.
- Complete all required documentation.
The work settings will vary among outpatient facilities, rehabilitation centers, long-term care units, inpatient services, clinics, nursing homes, acute care facilities, and hospitals. The pay scale for the role ranges from $37.00 to $53.00 per hour.
