Position Summary:

Leve three - With little or no assistance, a level three machinist will operate: 3-5 axis CNC machines, conventional mills, and lathes. (NOTE: This Weekend Shift position will mostly operate DMG machines.) Ability to produce complex aerospace parts. Demonstrates advanced cross training flexibility such as first part run and full machine recovery. Level three machinists have the ability to complete complex setups on 3-5 axis machines. They will be able to apply advanced blueprint and GD&T reading of complex production inspection processes. Level three machinists will also be able to edit programs and write simple programs to make tooling. Competencies includes trouble shooting complex parts.

    • Program edits - F/S, adding passes
    • Basic programmer - simple tooling
    • First run proofing

  • CNC Machinist Related Info:
    • CNC Machines: Haas, Matsuura, DMG
    • CNC Machine Controls: Fanuc, Yasnac, Siemens
  • Leadership & Training

Level of Education:
  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • 4-6 years of machining experience.
Work Schedule: Weekend Shift
  • Friday through Sunday 6:00 am to 6:30 pm.
