Role Overview:
As an Assistant Bakery Manager at Sprouts Farmers Market, your role entails delivering customer satisfaction via leadership and supervision of Bakery Clerks. You'll assist the Bakery Manager in managing day-to-day Bakery Department operations, ensuring maximum productivity and profit.

Job Responsibilities:

- Work with the Bakery Manager to manage, order, and control inventory for maximum productivity and profit.
- Supervise the Bakery team, ensuring product quality and bakery displays.
- Inspect incoming cases for damaged items.
- Ensure superior customer service and quality of Bakery products.
- Handle and maintain deli equipment and order unpacking.
- Execute and oversee adherence to all company health, safety, and sanitation guidelines/regulations among Bakery team members.

Qualifications/Requirements:
To qualify as an Assistant Bakery Manager at Sprouts Farmers Market, you should:

- Be at least 18 years old with a minimum of two years' retail grocery and supervisory experience.
- Be dependable, reliable, and flexible with working schedules that changes- includes nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Exhibit an outgoing, friendly demeanor, a positive attitude, and proficiency in customer interaction.
- Have good communication skills and be adept at taking and giving directions in a team-based environment.
- Keep the departmental area clean and sanitized (tables, floor, walls, cases, cooler, freezer, etc.).
- Be proficient in operating and using tools such as knives, scales, wrappers, compactors, garbage disposals, pallet jacks, and hand trucks as required.
- Be able to stand for up to 3 hours continuously for an 8-hour shift.
- Uphold all safety, health and Weights and Measures regulations and obtain and maintain a Food Handlers permit.
