Administrative Assistant

New Hampshire Ball Bearings, Inc. Peterborough facility is looking for an experienced Administrative Assistant to work in our Manufacturing Administration department.
Hours: 8:00am 5:00pm Monday Friday
Pay: $20/hour -$25.00/hour
Reporting to the Director of Operations, the experience that you will bring with you to this busy position, will include:

  • Manage internal/external phone, email and mail communications.
  • Calendar management for Director of Operations: managing and maintaining the calendar, scheduling appointments for both internal and external customers, making travel arrangements etc.
  • Creates or updates presentation materials, collects data, and creates charts and other visual representations from raw data.
  • Conducts research to prepare/compile reports and summaries, as needed.
  • Works closely with other administrative and support staff.
  • References systems to provide information, performs data entry, and generates reporting from systems as required.
  • Supports hospitality functions such as booking lodging or travel, securing basic supplies or furnishings for rental units, and inspecting accommodations between guests. Assists guests with resolving any rental concerns, and with other general requests throughout their stay.
  • Partners with leaders and representatives from internal/external functions as needed, providing excellent customer service for all requests.
  • Works with sensitive information with discretion to maintain confidentiality and security and ensure compliance with privacy policies and regulations.

The skills that you have include:

  • A minimum of five (5) years of progressive administrative/office experience is required.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft applications especially with Excel and Powerpoint.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong time-management skills, as well as strong organization and prioritization skills.
  • Ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a deadline driven environment with interruptions.
  • Aptitude for learning new software and systems.
  • Ability to be flexible within an environment of competing priorities; and a sense of humor.
