The Principal Site Reliability Engineer will be responsible for implementing and iterate the infrastructure underlying the Hilton Grand Vacations production environment in Cloud and On-Prem.

Key Responsibilities

  • Participate in performance tuning, availability, and disaster recovery for production environments
  • Work with engineering stakeholders to identify and design Chaos Engineering experiments
  • Implement, run, and report on Chaos Engineering experiments in production environments
  • Maintain and update infrastructure as a code for relevant components
  • A strong desire to improve technology and processes
  • Ability to logically troubleshoot availability and performance issues

    Key Skills

    • Experience with AWS and/or Azure
    • EC2, CloudFormation, S3, ECS, EKS, Kinesis, Azure APIM, etc.
    • Linux/Microsoft systems engineering
    • System deployment, management, performance tuning, problem diagnostics
    • Experience working with infrastructure-as-code base in Cloud Environment
    • CloudFormation, Terraform, Azure Resource Manager, Ansible, etc…
    • Ability to manage system impacting events

    Experience required

    • BA/BS/bachelor’s degree
    • 5 years of experience working in a production environment
    • CI/CS Certification
