Experience managing a team is preferred as this role will have multiple direct reports.

The Director of Treasury is responsible for setting the policies for the day to day operations and cash management functions of the Treasury team while implementing and driving on the longer term strategies to improve processes. This includes, but is not limited to, the maintenance of petty cash accounts, processing of airline certificates, cash concentration, electronic funds transfers, preparation of various cash-related information reports, and monthly closing. In addition, actively partnering on cash flow forecasting and monitoring of the negative covenant baskets related to HGV debt.

The Director of Treasury's expectations are to work at the physical corporate office in Orlando, Florida a minimum of 3+ days per week with flexible considerations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and empower the team members of the Treasury department
  • Work amongst executive peer group to provide guidance on Treasury operations
  • Lead all aspects of the team that will:
    • Prepare and review daily cash position and assist with Treasury cash forecast.
    • Manage Treasury Cash Forecast to ensure liquidity for daily operations
    • Invest the excess cash in accordance with Investment Policy
  • Optimize bank services to minimize bank fees and assist with electronic payments
  • Assist with design of optimal bank account structures to facilitate efficient and effective flow of funds
  • Ensure meticulous compliance with cash management operating procedures and application of company policies
  • Partner internally and externally on funding and securitization efforts in support of ABS/warehouse transactions
  • Manage corporate debt and associated covenants, interest expense and interest rate risk. Provide reporting to support the Board of Directors and Risk Management/Audit oversight committees
  • Assist with initiatives for operational improvement that result in process efficiencies and effectiveness of cash management practices
  • Collaborate effectively with Capital Markets, FP&A, Accounting, Legal, and Tax on upcoming development projects
  • Manage banking structure in addition to banking structures of managed HOA’s and fee partners. Monitor service performance and negotiate pricing to enhance operating efficiencies
  • Provide training, motivation, and development of team members to foster optimal performance

Qualifications

Job Details:

  • Full-time
  • Hybrid - 3+ days in the Orlando Corporate Office with flexibility
  • Limited travel and after hour engagements with internal and external partners

Key Skills:

  • Banking/Cash Management experience preferred
  • Certified Cash Manager (CCM) or Certified Treasury Professional (CTP) preferred

Experience Required:

  • Bachelor's Degree
  • 6+ years of treasury finance experience
  • 2-3+ years of management or supervisory experience
  • Proven operational and organizational excellence
