- - # of Triage beds: 7 bed triage unit where they assess patients who are greater than 20 weeks with pregnancy complaints
- - # of Postpartum beds: 36
- - # of Births per day? Month? Year?: Up to 400 per month
- - Common diagnoses/Types of patients: High-risk OB and routine obstetric care
Job Requirements
- Certifications Required: BLS, NRP
- Must be able to circulate in OR
- RNs are required to titrate drips
- Competency in normal newborn assessments and routine baby care
- Expectation to float to Postpartum on occasion
- Do you follow AWHONN guidelines for ratios?: 1:1-2 labors, 1:2-3 antepartum
Schedule Information
- Shifts & Scheduling: Self scheduling, can accommodate most schedule requests
- Weekend Requirements: Every third weekend, but could be up to every other based on unit need
- Holiday Requirements: 1 major, 1 minor
- Floating Requirements: Will float to Postpartum, occasional float to the house to be a 'sitter'
