Job Details
A large hospital located in Eastern Nebraska is looking for CT Techs to work days.
40 hours per week.
13 week contract.
Job Requirements
ARRT, BLS
Must understand methods and is capable of performing venipuncture as required.
Demonstrates ability to set and maintain multiple priorities in an environment with shifting priorities, while providing accurate deliverables in a timely fashion.
Must be self-motivated, and able to take ownership of projects/assignments.
Must be a team player with excellent follow-up and customer service skills.
Schedule Information
Shifts & Scheduling: 8s, 12s, or mixed shifts starting at 7-7, 3p-11p, etc.
Set schedule
Weekend Requirements: Depends on posted shift
Holiday Requirements: If needed for the department.
36-40 hours of unit/department specific orientation.
Unit Specific Information
Will they have to float/cover any other areas?: Depending on position- in past have hired to MRI, CT, Xray, and Ultrasound techs, May float between main campus and UC campus (stand-alone ER).
Experience or 'Must have' skills: Prefer overnight techs to be able to do CT and X-ray.
Attributes that will make a traveler successful here include being willing to jump in and stay busy, be able to think outside of the box for problem-solving.
Fast paced and busy facility, patients are high acuity.
Additional Details
How many scanners/rooms does this department have?: 8 treatment areas.
Common types of imaging/studies performed & Job Duties: Mixed population from pediatrics to geriatrics, vast variety of imaging/studies, busy OR and ER
CTAs, hearts, perfusion
EMR: EPIC, PACS: McKesson
Department Specific Equipment: Siemens equipment, Bracco contrast injectors
Radius Rule: 50 miles AND candidates may not be full time, part time, or PRN with any facility associated with CommonSpirit, including CHI and/or Dignity.
RTO needed upfront (7 or less days per 13 week contract). Additional RTO will not be approved, including after submissions.
