Sherwin-Williams offers a fast-track Management & Sales Training Program. This entry-level positioning is geared to prepare you for a Store Management role within 18-24 months. With our promote-from-within ethos, upon successfully completing the 6-8-week initial training, you may advance to an Assistant Store Manager role. 

The role typically demands a 44-hour workweek, potentially including evenings and weekends. In this role, you will partner with store management to run a million-dollar business, providing direction and strategic insights. During the program, your learning path will cover all operations, client relations and internal strategies, enabling full understanding of your crucial contribution to the team's success. You will boost the company's market share by selling our high-quality products to large commercial users such as painting contractors, purchasing agents, manufacturers, etc.

The Role's Mandates:

- Execute training as per the established program
- Boost sales and optimize profitability
- Uphold exceptional customer service
- Develop thorough product knowledge for effective customer recommendations
- Build strong relationships with wholesale and retail customers
- Handle store administration and ensure adherence to safety, loss prevention, and security policies
- Maintain the store's outstanding condition and visual merchandising standards
- Support employee training, development, performance management, and corrective action
- Address and resolve any customer and employee concerns
- Collaborate with Store Manager on outside sales calls to increase market share

Minimum Requirements:

- Must be 18 years or older
- Must be legally authorized to work in the country of employment without needing sponsorship for employment work visa status now or in the future
- Must have a valid, unrestricted Driver’s License
- Must have at least a Bachelor's degree by the start of this development program
- Must be able to access material from shelves and floor stacks and lift and carry up to 50 lbs. frequently and up to 70 lbs. on occasion

Preferred Qualifications:

- 1 year of retail, sales, or customer service experience
- 1 year of supervisory experience or team leadership roles
- Experience in a teamwork-oriented setting
- Previous sales experience with paint related products
- Experience using timekeeping and/or customer relationship management ("CRM") systems
- Open to future relocation for job opportunities
- Bilingual skills
