Key Responsibilities:
As a US FOODS® Delivery Driver, you play a crucial role on our team and serve as one of the organization's key representatives. Your task is to ensure timely delivery of our wide range of products such as meats, produce, frozen items, groceries, dry goods, equipment, and supplies to customer locations. Your dedication is central to US FOODS®'s success, reflecting our cultural beliefs, strong work ethics, team spirit, and superior service offerings.
- Provide unparalleled customer service
- Ensure timely delivery to meet scheduled delivery timelines while maintaining productivity
- Use a hand truck to unload products and place them in the customer's storage area
- Comfortable with repeated, manual heavy lifting of items weighing up to 80 pounds
- Able to handle frequent stops during a work shift
- Able to deliver products in varying weather conditions
- Verify delivery with customers upon completion
Requirements:
- Must be at least 21 years old
- Valid CDL Class A issued by the legal residency state with necessary endorsements and DOT qualifications
- High school diploma or General Education Degree (GED) is preferable
- Valid U.S. driver’s license issued by the legal residency state with proper endorsements
- No more than two traffic violation convictions in the past two years. No DUI convictions in the past three years, no driver’s license suspensions in the past three years
- Minimum of six months of commercial driving experience (any industry) or three months of experience in food and beverage delivery
- Must pass DOT physical exam

The provided compensation information adheres to certain state and local laws. Actual pay will depend on experience, geographic locations, and other legally approved factors. In Washington, the expected compensation for this role is $33.34 per hour. This role also comes with benefits that may include low-cost union health insurance, retirement benefits, paid time off, short-term and long-term disability, employee stock purchase plan, and life insurance.
