SUMMARY

This is a working Management position. This job requires you to work with customers on a daily basis through numerous channels including, but not limited to, working the teller line, opening accounts, taking loan applications, and addressing client complaints/issues.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.

Manage the day-to-day operations of the branch including all Banker functions such as paying and receiving teller transactions, opening new accounts, making referrals of BancFirst products and all other Personal Banker duties.

Manage the customer service level of the Universal Bankers and Tellers. Extraordinary customer service will be required at all times.

Responsible for coaching, counseling, and disciplinary action of branch personnel.

Hold weekly operational and sales related meetings with all employees.

Conduct monthly score card performance reviews with each employee.

Perform other job related duties and projects as assigned.

REQUIREMENTS

3-5 years of Retail/Branch Manager experience required

Ability to motivate staff and assist in maintaining goals

Proficient in opening new accounts, servicing accounts, and working in a teller position

Able to interact with other offices and departments for accurate resolutions to problems/errors, in addition to the timely completion of job tasks

Flexible and able to work additional hours when crucial to the branch environment

Customer and Employee conflict management is critical

Knowledge of sales tools and presentation

Knowledge of federal, state, and bank policy, procedure and regulations

Critical thinking skills

Excellent interpersonal, listening, verbal and written communication skills

Must be able to work well under stress and deadlines


Regular and consistent attendance and punctuality is an essential function of the job

PREFERRED SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS

Successful sales record in a retail banking environment; with knowledge of bank products and services

Bilingual (Spanish) a plus

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

Constant use of computer screens and reading of reports

Ability to operate a computer keyboard, multi-line telephone, photocopier, scanner and facsimile

Regularly required to sit, use hand to finger, handle or feel, reach with hands and arms, and talk, see or hear

Intermittently standing, stooping, bending at the waist, walking, kneeling or crouching to file materials

Ability to lift and/or move and carry 10-25 pounds (cash canisters, coin boxes/bags)
