Job Description:
We are on the lookout for committed and patient-oriented physicians licensed in multiple states to join our team. Whether you specialize in primary care, internal medicine, addiction medicine, emergency medicine, or urgent care, this position allows for high-quality modern practice without traditional constraints. Most services are fully online, with potential opportunities for in-person hybrid arrangements.
Responsibilities:
- Offer high-quality virtual care, including patient evaluations, medical history assessments, and appropriate treatments.
- Provide compassionate, patient-centered care, establishing strong doctor-patient relationships.
- Order and interpret lab tests to inform high-quality treatment decisions.
- Prescribe medications and offer expert advice on their use (QuickMD prescribes buprenorphine for opioid addiction treatment as an exception to controlled substances).
- Collaborate with fellow physicians, nurse practitioners, experienced nurses, and support staff for comprehensive care.
- Maintain thorough medical documentation to ensure care continuity.
- Stay informed on medical advancements, telehealth innovations, and best practices.
Requirements:
- Active medical license in at least three states, preferably five, with a willingness to obtain more (assistance and costs covered).
- Licensing in high-demand states is advantageous.
- Experience in telehealth or high-volume in-person patient care.
- Ability to schedule and work at least 15 core hours weekly (8 AM - 6 PM locally), across four days, planning at least a week in advance.
- Strong communication skills and a passion for medical excellence.
- Familiarity with telemedicine platforms and EMRs (training provided).
- Desire to expand access to healthcare and make a meaningful impact.
- At least one DEA certification and applicable Controlled Substance License, if necessary.

All physicians must complete required training as part of the onboarding, which may include buprenorphine training. Malpractice insurance is provided (3m/1m policy). A 1099 form will be issued at the end of the year.
