Essential Duties

The role entails ensuring top-tier customer satisfaction via superlative sales service. You'll be assisting customers in-person and over the phone, understanding their needs, and suggesting suitable products and services. Building productive and trustful relationships with wholesale and retail customers is key.

Key responsibilities include:

- Processing sales transactions in alignment with company policy
- Achieving and exceeding sales goals periodically (monthly, quarterly, yearly)
- Maintaining meticulously organized work order files and formulas
- Retrieving appropriate products from the sales floor or warehouse
- Tinting and mixing products as per customer specifications
- Stocking shelves and arranging displays
- Maintaining store equipment and loading/unloading delivery trucks
- Assisting in making deliveries, when needed
- Ensuring assigned areas are well-stocked and presentable
- Staying updated on offered products and discussing available options
- Adhering to inventory control procedures
- Suggesting ways to enhance sales

Requirements

Applicants need to be at least 18 years of age and authorized to work in the country of employment without sponsorship now or in the future. Applicants must be proficient in English and Spanish as well. The ability to lift and haul up to 50 lbs. frequently and 70 lbs. intermittently is required. Candidates should be open to the scheduling of hours which might include evenings and weekends.

Preferred Qualifications

Ideally, you should have a valid, unrestricted driver’s license, at least a high school diploma or GED, one year of working experience in customer service, delivery, or retail. Prior experience selling paint and related products and operating tinting and mixing machines are an added advantage.
