UX Designer – Kantar Marketplace

New York, World Trade Center

We are seeking a Senior UI/UX Designer – Marketplace, Analytics and Data Visualization to join our organization to provide best-in-class visual design and usability for our leading-edge insights platform. 

What you’ll be doing

  • Design interfaces that are exciting, beautiful, and usable
  • Visualize data and build intuitive, outstanding dashboards
  • Evolve high level visual concepts into pixel-perfect designs 
  • Contribute to the team's set of best practices, standards, and design guidelines and drive alignment across all platform components. 
  • Communicate and get buy-in on the design philosophy and guidelines with various stakeholders across the company. 
  • Hands-on design: Develop both high & low fidelity mockups and working prototypes 
  • Build design files in Figma that are ready to be delivered to the development team.
  • Work closely with Product Managers, other UI and Visual Designers, UX Designers, and Developers to help build designs from idea to release. 
  • Gather key insights through data analysis into customer behavior to find their unmet & unspoken needs 
  • Be the user-advocate by subjecting early-stage designs to usability testing and offering implementation suggestions from a user-centered perspective 
  • Above all, have fun creating the next generation of a leading-edge insights platform 

The skills & expereince needed

  • Demonstratable experience of UI and UX design for software web applications, B2B SaaS /Enterprise preferred
  • Proven expertise in Data Visualization and Analytics Dashboards
  • Strong understanding of UX/UI design, knowledge of UX standard methodologies, and the ability to create wireframes, user journeys and prototypes
  • Shown experience as a UI designer with strong visual design skills and ability to build design systems
  • Solid experience with user-centric design and user research 
  • Demonstrated expertise in designing clean, intuitive and innovative interfaces
  • Detailed understanding of adaptable design and ability to build high fidelity designs for all viewpoints for hand-off to developers
  • Proficient with Figma, Photoshop and Illustrator
  • Understanding of HTML and CSS
  • Ability to communicate effectively with different audiences, including senior leadership. Demonstrated ability to influence others and get buy in !
  • Experience in research, usability testing, product analytics, and turning the output into data that can drive product design decisions 
  • Excellent interpersonal, business management, and developmental skills 
  • Self-sufficient, able to manage workload to meet project deadlines. Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment and to make trade-offs when needed to optimize outcome when conditions change 
  • Market Research industry experience a plus

This role is a fixed term contract position.

The salary range for this role in New York is $108,200 - $180,300. Your final base salary will be determined based on several factors which may include but are not limited to location, work experience, skills, knowledge, education and/or certifications.
