The role necessitates the use of your know-how and capacities to assist patients in their recovery journey, pain management, and achieving maximum functional independence. As a Staff Physiotherapy Professional, you should be able to examine patients based on essential clinical understanding, develop a treatment strategy, and implement it regularly.

Requirements For The Role:

- A Bachelor's or Master's degree, Doctorate degree is favored
- Licensed Physiotherapy Professional in the state practicing
- Completion of state-regulated CEU requirement
- Valid CPR License
- Preference for those with experience with EMR software
- Exceptional oral and written communication skills
- Strong decision-making abilities in clinical settings
- Excellent professional ethics and dedication to patient success
- Basic computer literacy
- Ability to work cohesively as a team member and independently with minimal supervision
- Upholding a positive, professional attitude 

Role Responsibilities:

- Gather and record patient care data adhering to patient care service guidelines, regulatory bodies, and third-party payers, understanding the impact of reimbursement systems on patient care. This involves generating initial evaluations, daily notes, reassessments/progress reports, and discharge plans, along with team communication.
- Maintain daily billing records following department guidelines for productivity.
- Prepare for evaluations in compliance with department policies, practices, patient history knowledge, understanding of patient diagnoses, and research unfamiliar diagnoses.
- Selection and implementation of tests and measures.
- Synthesize collected results from evaluation to construct the diagnosis, goals, prognosis, and care plan.
- Establish treatment plans considering evaluation results, goals, and best practice, coordinating with the interdisciplinary team, patients, and patient's support network. Make necessary modifications to the care plan and goals based on reassessment.
- When required, initiate consultations and referrals with other healthcare professionals or services. Initiate and finalize discharge plan.
- Instruction provision to patients and/or their support system.
- Conduct functional training, including ADLs/IADLs, therapeutic activities, prescription of rehabilitation equipment and training, and community reintegration.
- Responsibility for patient caseload treatment, care plans, and exercise prescription.
- Ensure interventions align with the organization and are safe and effective for the patients.
- Provide musculoskeletal Interventions, including therapeutic exercise, joint mobilization, and modalities.
- Provide data and note writing using WEB PT EMR for all treatments.
- Management of support staff including PTA, ATC, PT aides.
- Attendance of the annual billing and coding seminar.
- Promote the organization in the community through lectures and presentations.
