HR Generalist

Our client is in need of an HR Specialist/Generalist who specializes in employee relations. This person will be the point person on enforcing policies and procedures of a high profile contract.

Responsibilities

• Handle employee relations to maintain positive relationships between employees and other members connected to the organization
• Enforce policies and procedures as they relate to the project
• Investigate, and provide resolution for systematic matters such as harassment, terminations, worker's compensation, EEOC, and accommodation needs
• Address and troubleshoot employee complaints

Qualifications

• A minimum of 4 years experience in Human Resources
• Bilingual Spanish/English speaking is highly preferred
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong knowledge of labor and employment law
• Great interpersonal skills
• Problem solving and conflict resolution skills
• Prior experience working in employment law, social services, the government or a staffing firm is desired
• Previous experience working as on-site HR through a staffing firm is highly favored
• Relevant training or HR Certifications required
