Customer Service Specialists at Sherwin-Williams engage extensively with both our wholesale and retail customers, discerning their needs, addressing their product-related queries, and proposing optimal solutions. They're expected to swiftly address and resolve any customer complaints, ensuring maximum customer satisfaction. Additionally, they are responsible for staying updated on product features, maintaining our products and store's high aesthetics, and quality standards. Their primary goal lies in delivering exceptional customer service while consistently achieving the store's sales targets. 

Part of the role involves interacting with customers, including minors, handling cash and other payment modalities, electronic equipment, personal details, store merchandise, and other valuable commodities. Their interaction may be supervised or unsupervised. Responsibilities:

- Uphold high customer satisfaction levels through excellent sales service
- Help customers in person and over the phone by identifying needs and recommending appropriate products and services
- Build productive trust-based relationships with wholesale and retail customers
- Accurately and consistently process sales transactions in line with policies and procedures
- Achieve sales goals on a monthly, quarterly, and yearly basis
- Maintain accurate work order files and formulas
- Retrieve appropriate products from the sales floor or warehouse
- Tint and mix products, as needed, to suit customer specifications
- Stock shelves and arrange displays
- Clean/store equipment
- Load/unload delivery trucks, assist in deliveries if required
- Maintain assigned areas in a stocked and presentable condition
- Stay updated on products and discuss available options
- Adhere to inventory control procedures
- Propose ways to improve sales

Minimum Qualifications:

- Must be at least eighteen (18) years old 
- Authorized to work in the country without requiring sponsorship now or in the future
- Ability to read, write, comprehend, and communicate in English and Spanish
- Ability, with or without reasonable accommodation, to retrieve material from shelves and floor stacks and lift and carry up to 50 lbs. frequently and up to 70 lbs. occasionally
- Willing to work all scheduled hours, including evenings and weekends, with or without reasonable accommodation

Preferred Qualifications:

- Unrestricted Driver’s License
- Minimum of High School diploma or GED
- At least one (1) year of work experience in a delivery, retail, or customer service role
- Previous work experience selling paint and paint-related products
- Experience operating tinting and mixing equipment.
