Our Customer Service Specialist position is instrumental to the flourishing of our retail outlets. These specialists engage directly with wholesale and retail clients to perceive their requirements, respond to their inquiries regarding Sherwin-Williams products, and recommend fitting solutions. Part of their role includes timely resolution of customer issues to ensure full client satisfaction. They are also expected to remain current with product features and maintain the top-notch quality and visual appeal of the products and store. In addition, they are charged with delivering outstanding customer service, while consistently attaining the store's sales targets.

The roles of Customer Service Specialist include:

- Ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction through excellent sales service
- Assisting customers in person and over the phone by determining needs and presenting fitting products and services
- Building productive and trustworthy relationships with wholesale and retail clientele
- Accurately processing sales transactions in line with policies and procedures
- Achieving sales objectives on a monthly, quarterly, and yearly basis
- Maintaining exact work order files and formulas
- Retrieving suitable products from the sales floor or warehouse as needed
- Tinting and mixing products as needed, to customer specifications
- Stocking shelves and setting up displays
- Cleaning store equipment
- Assisting in making deliveries when needed
- Maintaining in-stock and clean condition of assigned areas
- Remaining knowledgeable about the products offered and discussing available choices
- Complying with inventory control procedures
- Suggesting ways to enhance sales

Minimum Requirements:

- At least eighteen (18) years of age
- Legal authorization to work in the country of employment without needing sponsorship now or in the future
- Ability to retrieve material from shelves and floor stacks and lift and carry up to 50 lbs. frequently and up to 70 lbs. on occasion, with or without reasonable accommodation
- Willingness to work all scheduled hours, possibly including evenings and weekends, with or without reasonable accommodation

Preferred Qualifications:

- Valid, unrestricted Driver’s License
- At least a High School diploma or GED
- At least one (1) year of experience in a delivery, retail, or customer service position
- Previous work experience selling paint and paint related products
- Previous work experience operating tinting and mixing equipment
- Ability to read, write, comprehend, and communicate in more than one language, including Spanish
