Introduction

We have an exciting opportunity for a full-time Emergency Department RN. As part of this role, you will be working a standard 40-hour week in Shift 1 which operates from 9am to 7:30pm, covering every third weekend and holiday. Join our team and make an impact where every moment counts.

Facilities

Our Emergency Department’s cutting-edge facilities were designed with the comfort of patients and their families in mind. We have 56 private rooms and offer easy access to laboratory and radiology services within the department. Incorporating EPIC for patient charting and designated as a Primary Stroke Center, we also cater to an Acute Behavioral Health Unit. Our dedicated team of professionals are committed to providing the highest standards of patient care.

Role and Responsibilities

Our Nurses operate within supportive team environments centered on patient-care. Tasked with managing patient care, you’ll work under the general supervision of the Nurse Manager and employ evidence-based practices. You'll be expected to devise a comprehensive plan of care in line with the hospital's policies, guided by the medical staff and conforming to the State Nurse Practice Act. This plan will aim to meet the physical, emotional, spiritual, cultural, and educational needs of the patient and their family.

Qualifications

- You'll ideally have a BSN

- You must have a current RN license in the state

- Capability to handle various tasks in a high traffic setting

- Ability to be self-disciplined in delivering patient care

- Previous experience in Emergency Nursing is preferred
