Role Responsibilities
As part of your role, you will work in a collaborative environment with a robust interdisciplinary team, focusing on patient-centered care. Reporting to the Nurse Manager, you will employ evidence-based practices per the State Nurse Practice Act, hospital policies, and the medical staff's direction. Your prowess and knowledge of nursing will contribute to planning care that meets the physical, emotional, spiritual, cultural, and educational needs of the patient and their family.
Qualifications
- BSN (preferred)
- Current RN license in Connecticut
- Ability to juggle multiple priorities in a high-volume setting
- Demonstrable ability of self-directing in patient care management
- Prior experience in emergency nursing (preferred)
