An exciting full-time opportunity awaits a dedicated professional, with a 36-hour work schedule across shift 2 (11am-11:30pm), including every third weekend and holidays. Our ED, designed keeping patient and family comfort in mind, boasts 56 private rooms, quick access to in-house lab and radiology services, utilization of EPIC for patient charting, designation as a Primary Stroke Center, and a dedicated Acute Behavioral Health Unit. Our team of professionals is committed to delivering the highest standard of patient care.

Job Summary:

Our nurses collaborate with strong interdisciplinary teams in a diverse workspace, focusing on a patient-centered care model. Under the Nurse Manager's direction and supervision, our registered nurses use evidence-based practices in accordance with the State Nurse Practice Act, hospital policies, and the medical staff's guidance. Our registered nurses employ their expertise to develop a plan of care aligning with standards of practice, catering to the physical, emotional, spiritual, cultural, and educational needs of the patient and their family.

Qualifications Required:

The required qualifications include:

- A BSN (preferred)

- A current RN license in the state of Connecticut

- The ability to manage multiple priorities in a high-volume environment

- Self-direction in patient care management

- Prior experience in Emergency Nursing is preferred
