Introduction

Here's an exciting opportunity for a dedicated Emergency Department RN looking for a full-time role involving 36 standard hours per week. This role falls under Shift 3 which is a night shift running 7pm to 7:30am, covering every third weekend and holidays. Join our family where every second counts.

We have designed our cutting-edge Emergency Department keeping in mind the needs of patients and their families. It boasts 56 private rooms and easy access to laboratory and radiology services, with EPIC software for patient charting. Our designation as a primary stroke center and our dedicated Acute Behavioral Health Unit further underscores our commitment to providing top-tier patient care.

Role and Responsibilities

Working in a collaborative environment with strong interdisciplinary teams, our nurses focus on a patient-centered care model in a diversely rich workspace. The position involves working under the general supervision of the Nurse Manager and utilizing evidence-based practices in line with the State Nurse Practice Act, and hospital policies, as directed by the medical staff. The role calls for the development of care plan encompassing standards of practice to cater to the physical, emotional, spiritual, cultural and educational needs of the patient and their family.

Qualifications Required

- A BSN degree is preferred

- The possession of a current RN license

- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a busy environment

- Self-reliance in managing patient care

- Previous presence in emergency nursing is a considerable advantage
