IT Help Desk- Seasonal

Our client, a government agency, is seeking an IT Help Desk- Seasonal to join their team. As an IT Help Desk- Seasonal, you will be part of the Information Technology and Election Systems Department supporting the voting equipment and IT department related duties. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, ability to work with minimum direction and as a team player, and ability to maintain confidentiality, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: IT Help Desk- Seasonal

Location: Melbourne, FL

Pay Range: $18/hour

What's the Job?

• Performs professional and technical work installing, maintaining, and supporting voting equipment, desktop computers and network equipment.
• End-user hardware and software support in a windows-based environment.
• Quality control testing of voting equipment.
• Travel to sites for troubleshooting voting equipment, desktop workstations and related hardware.
• Work long hours and weekends at peak times.
• May be assigned to an Early Voting site for onsite IT support.

What's Needed?

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Minimum of one year of technical computer experience with Windows Operating Systems
• Minimum of one year of experience with MS Office Suite
• Minimum of one year of experience with desktop computer installation
• Must be a registered voter in Florida
• Possession of a valid Florida Drivers’ License
• Able to stand for full workday
• Able to bend, stoop, reach throughout the workday
• Able to lift, push, pull, up to 50 pounds frequently
