  • Number of Openings: 1, Shift: 6:45PM - 7:15AM, Weekly Guaranteed Hours: 36, Weekend Hours: Every other weekend.
  • Required Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIH & KY License.
  • Years of Experience: 2+ (No ICU RNS), Float Requirements: Yes – Any other PCU or Med Surg.
    Job Requirements
  • Proficient in cardiac monitoring, IV therapy (including PICC line management, dressing changes), and IV medications (administration of antibiotics, drips including heparin, nitroglycerin, amiodarone, cardizem).
  • Tracheostomy Management, Intermediate/step down experience.
  • Type of Patients on Unit: Mix.
  • Personality Fit: Positive attitude, flexibility with changes on the unit (patient assignments/floated to another unit), and excellent critical thinking in stressful situations.
    Schedule Information
  • Shift: 6:45PM - 7:15AM, Weekly Guaranteed Hours: 36, Weekend Hours: Every other weekend.
  • Call Requirements: None
  • Requested time off – Up to 5 days in the offer without manager approval.
  • Holidays require manager approval and candidates are advised to work 2 out of the 3 holidays.
    Unit Specific Information
  • Number of Beds: 21, Patient Ratios: 4:1 to 5:1, Equipment: BiPAPS, High flow, telemetry monitoring, occasional Cardiac Drips.
  • Must have Cerner Experience.
  • EMR: Cerner – Required
