# beds/procedures: 13 patient care rooms and 4 vertical chairs for lower acuity patients
Patient ratio: 4:1, variable up or down based on patient acuity
Does RN need to know how to read tele strips? Yes
Top diagnosis/procedures: Unknown at this time
Common equipment used: Alaris IV pumps, Hamilton ventilators, Epic documentation system
Does RN need to be able to titrate medication? Yes
Common medications given: Unknown. Should be comfortable administering a wide variety of common medication classes, as well as administering IV medications such as antibiotics, insulin, and vasoactive drips.
Certifications required (ACLS, BLS, NIH, TORBSST, PALS, Stable, TNCC etc) : ACLS, BLS, PALS, NIH
Scrub Color (are they provided): Galaxy blue, not provided

Required Skills:
· IV insertion
· Blood draws
· PICC/Central Line management:
· Dialysis Fistula: Will not access, but should be comfortable assessing
· A-line management
· Obtain 12 lead EKG
· Cardioversion/defibrillation
· Procedural sedation
· CPAP/BiPAP
· Ventilators
· Trach Care
· Traction: Should be comfortable with basic traction splints and assessing pulses. No advanced traction such as Buck's or skeletal
· Continuous bladder irrigation
· Other skills needed?: Should be capable of caring for pediatric patients, overdose, initial Stroke and STEMI care, lab value interpretation, and comfort and compassion caring for socioeconomically disadvantaged patients.

Pay package is based on 12 hour shifts and 36 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
