Job Details
Minimum 2 years of Telemetry experience required
May float to Med-Surg
Additional Requirement: Must be able to read strips

Unit Details: Avg Census: 36, Rooms/Beds: 36, Ratios - 1:4
Every other weekend coverage required
No Call requirement
Scrubs: Royal Blue
Patient Population: Adolescents - Geriatrics
Must be able to work in Telemetry setting.
Must have experience with vents, groin care, and chest tubes.
Required Cardiac Monitoring and Emergency Response Skills: Interpretation of dysrhythmias, Management of dysrhythmias, Telemetry - on the unit monitoring, Telemetry - remote monitoring
Required Cardiovascular skills: Post Cardiac Angiogram, Post MI, Pre/Post Cardiac Cath, Pre/Post Cardiac Surgery
Required IV Therapy/Phlebotomy Skills: Blood Product Administration, Central line care/management, PICC line management, Starting IVs
Required Respiratory/Thoracic Skills: Care of Chronic/Long-term Ventilated Patient, Chest tubes-Emerson/Pleuravac, External CPAP/BIPAP, High Flow Nasal Cannula (HFNC), Nasal Cannula, Non-invasive airway management, Oxygen face masks, Tracheostomy Management
RTO must be on the submittal
No RTO the first two weeks of an assignment
Once RTO is submitted, this cannot be changed unless it’s to cancel the time requested - ensure that you have confirmed all dates needed off for the full 13-week contract
