Job Overview
The Grants Management Coordinator position requires a detail-oriented, self-motivated person who is flexible, well-organized, and able to communicate effectively. Collects and compiles program data for grant reports, including cost reporting data for all government (federal, state, county, and city) grant awards, and maintains a dashboard of grant-funded activities. The main duties of this position include data tracking, processing grant contracts, and agreements, and coordinating with the Finance Department regarding the invoicing process related to grant and contract proposal awards. This position coordinates and supports the Grants Management team to ensure accuracy in all created reviews, reports, budgets, and complex analyses according to funder requirements. The position documents, archives, and maintains records for all grant programs. Coordinates and prepares documentation for grant program assessments and financial audits. Compiles and maintains analysis of grant requirements, including goals, milestones, and deliverables. Is responsible for the review, processing, and obtaining required approval signatures for new award agreements. Is responsible for the synchronization of all operations involved in the successful completion of grant-funded projects. Ensures the viability and accuracy of contract terms; informs AltaMed staff of special contractual requirements; ensures compliance with AltaMed guidelines; and, when appropriate, provides training and coaching to AltaMed personnel on grants and contracts requirements, deadlines, and policy.
Minimum Requirements
1. Bachelor’s degree preferred.
2. Minimum of 3 years of progressive experience in finance, grant, and contract management required.
3. Experience in providing technical and project management and meeting project timeline goals.
4. Familiarity with legal procedures and language is desirable.
Compensation
$26.13 - $32.55 hourlyCompensation Disclaimer

The range is subject to change.
