Job Overview
The AVP, Senior and Complex Care Operations position is responsible for providing administrative and operational direction for the Health Services and Senior Care delivery system. The AVP of Senior and Complex Care Operations leads and manages a comprehensive strategy to achieve primary care services and programs and achieve high quality, affordable, and integrated Health Services. The AVP is accountable on establishing and executing current and long-range objectives, development, and implementation of the Health Services’ and Senior Care’s strategic objectives and operating plans to achieve high quality care throughout AltaMed.
The AVP, Senior and Complex Care Operations is responsible for all operational plans, including growth and the related strategies, organizing, training, and staffing at any one or more of the AltaMed Senior Care clinic facilities. This position is responsible for developing, implementing, and managing all budget responsibilities. This position is responsible for ensuring that Health Services complies with all federal, state, funding, and city regulations, certifications, and licensing requirements. This position will work in partnership with Health Services leadership to support our clinics and departments to effectively achieve all Health Services division goals and objectives. The AVP of Senior and Complex Care Operations will supervise clinic operations leaders and work with physician leadership and corporate support services to deliver services that are operating effectively and meeting the strategic goals and mission of the corporation.
Minimum Requirements:
1. Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Nursing, Health Administration or other health related fields required; Master’s Degree in Business, Public Health or Health Administration strongly preferred.
2. Minimum of 8 years of experience required in ambulatory care management, overseeing multiple office locations required.
3. Experience in financial management, program development, personnel management, project management and quality management strongly preferred.
4. Demonstrated results in executing complex initiatives and projects.
5. Experience in Senior Care or Senior Medical Group preferred.
