Responsibilities

Joining our Aviation team means an opportunity to explore your potential and apply your diverse skills to serve the large and small airports of the aviation industry as a trusted advisor. You can do this in a collaborative and team-oriented environment among other driven professionals. Service areas include airfields, environmental planning, and environmental stewardship & resiliency. Join RS&H to define and master challenges, advance professionally, and build strong and lasting relationships.


Qualifications

RS&H is currently seeking an Aviation Engineering Intern to join our team. This position will work in-office. As part of the Aviation Infrastructure team, you'll gain great experience on a variety of conventional and design-build projects that combine innovative design with a strong knowledge of technical standards to exceed client expectations and provide cost-effective solutions.

To be successful in this internship, you must:

  • Current student pursuing a Bachelor or Master’s degree in Civil Engineering at an ABET accredited university with at least 1 year remaining until program completion
  • 2.5 GPA or above
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work on multiple assignments simultaneously
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team environment

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Prior internship or related experience
  • Experience with AutoCAD/AutoCAD Civil 3D
  • Experience or exposure to Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) Advisory Circulars
  • Specific interest in Aviation Infrastructure
