We have an exciting opportunity open for an Operations Support Representative based in Little Rock, AR.


POSITION SUMMARY:

The Operations Support Specialist provides clerical and customer service support including data collection and entry, information/data analysis, document preparation, report generation for the Gas Operations District, Area, or local office; may also perform warehouse function in support of district or geographic location.

PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Prepares and maintains various monthly and quarterly operations reports (e.g., LUFG, capital job status, safety awareness activities, etc.)
  • Assists with third party damages through Riskmaster System
  • Performs One Call notifications and updates
  • Assists with ARO process as required due to segregation of duties
  • Reviews and reconciles credit card expenses utilizing on-line system.
  • Assists with preparation of cost estimates for new services as needed or requested by supervision
  • Updates and maintains weekly call-out schedule and dispatch daily line-up for District, Area or local office
  • Coordinates fleet maintenance schedules, mileage reports, notification of CDL certification requirements, vehicle inspections, etc.
  • Ensures work orders are sent to GIS in a timely manner
  • Reviews and processes various ITRON-Meter Reading Reports/Can’t Reads
  • Research and resolves solve customer problems
  • Request information and/or records maintenance in compliance with legal retention schedules while following prescribed procedures and practices
  • Receives, stores and issues materials and supplies as needed based on district needs
  • Prepares necessary SAP records to document receipt and issuance of materials and supplies
  • Performs duties that include answering the phone, filing, faxing, copying, mail distribution, I-buy purchases, etc.
  • Performs other duties as assigned

EDUCATION AND WORK EXPERIENCE

  • High school diploma
  • Minimum of two years administration experience

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES

  • Oral and written communication skills by conveying accurate information to customers, co-workers, and vendors
  • Strong interpersonal skills and effective listening skills
  • Solve problems and make sound decisions
  • Prioritize and schedule tasks, pay attention to detail and demonstrate organizational skills
  • Proficient in using personal computer and software proficiently, (MS Office applications)
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Handle confidential information in a discreet and appropriate manner
  • Plan, prioritize, and organize job duties to meet deadlines
  • Function and work collaboratively in a team environment
