Job Description

Our team at HGV Paradise is seeking for a Maintenance Engineer to join the team. We are located conveniently off the Strip, and our resort is beloved by both our Owners and Guests for its peaceful atmosphere away from the bustle of the city. For almost 25 years, we have been providing a welcoming and comfortable home away from home for our Owners, Guests, and Team Members. Responsibilities Include:

  • Interacts with guest in regards to engineering problem resolution.
  • Basic appliance troubleshooting and repair, air-conditioning controls problem solving and repair.
  • Intermediate skills in drywall, painting/staining and wall vinyl repairs.
  • Fix plumbing fixtures including drain cleaning, change filters, etc.
  • Maintain all guestroom and public space equipment replace caulk.
  • Tile/Grout Door repair to include locking mechanisms and hinges.
  • Inspects rooms for pest intrusion Inspects and replaces cosmetic appliance components.
  • Replace light bulbs and ballasts Repair closet/drapery tracks.
  • Replacement of furniture Stain furniture and repair nicks and gouges.
  • Replace remote control batteries and unclog toilets and sinks.
  • Touch-up paint Glue peeling wallpaper.
  • Complete planned scheduled preventative maintenance and replaces faulty plumbing components.
  • Establishes a clear line of communication with the leadership team.
  • Other general Maintenance tasks as assigned.

Qualifications

Key Skills and experience:

  • 1+ years of related experience
  • CPO Certification
  • Can easily climb stairs and work on ladders up to 30 feet, push/pull up to 80 lbs, lift/carry up to 50 lbs.
  • Grasp, stoop, reach overhead with or without reasonable accommodations.
  • High School Diploma or GED

It would be advantageous in this position for you to demonstrate the following capabilities and distinctions:

  • 3+ years or more of job related experience
  • Valid driver's license
