Job Role:
As a Department Manager, you'll manage and supervise the housekeeping, laundry, and floor care staff at a single site as per policies, procedures, and federal/state norms. Leading teams to complete various duties across different shifts will be part of the responsibility.
You Can Expect To:
- Maintain finance and personnel records
- Mediate effective communication between building occupants or administrators and HCSG staff
- Utilize protective gear in all applicable functions
- Maintain consistent attendance
- Deliver positive interactions with residents, staff, and facility guests
Qualifications:
Prospective candidates should demonstrate a positive attitude, ability to follow both oral and written instructions, and perform routine, repetitive tasks consistently. Other qualifications include:
- Completion of high school education or its equivalent
- Two years’ experience in Environmental Services in a healthcare environment and supervisory experience
- Compliance with COVID-19 Vaccination Policies as ordained by the State, Local, and/or Customers
- Ability to lift/carry a maximum of 50 pounds, stand, sit, bend and walk for extended durations
- Must be able to work routinely with cleaning products
- Resident service area as home location
