Float Requirements: floating to other units (IMC, ED) in the hospital is an expectation
Patient Ratios: 1:6
Equipment: Baxter for IV pumps; Posey for our bed/chair alarms; Omnicel for our drug dispensing cabinet; Zoll for our defibrillators
EHR: Medhost
Patient Population: adult/geriatric
Must Have Skills/Experience: Telemetry; recent acute care experience; can handle 6 patient ratio
Preferred Skillset/Experience: at least 2 yrs RN experience; preceptor and charge experience is a plus
Type of Patients on Unit: total joint patients; surgical patients; ACS; pts with acute on chronic medical conditions like CHF, CKD; alcohol withdrawal; SIRS; GIB;
Required Education: ADN
