First Time Travelers Accepted
Shift Requirements: 4x12 or 3x12
Staffing Ratios: 1:5-6
Unit Information: Post Operative - Urology, GYN, GI, Ortho etc. & some pre-op patients
COVID vaccine is required for all travelers at IU Health campuses.
Job Requirements
Minimum 2 Year of Med/Surg Experience
2 Years Overall RN experience required
Management of dysrhythmias and Interpretation of dysrhythmias skillset preferred
Schedule Information
Call-Ins: If a traveler calls in for a contracted shift, the traveler is expected to make up the day during the pay period, or the shift will be added at the end of the traveler contract
Weekends: Travelers are expected to work every other week per their contract. Consecutive weekends may be needed based on the greatest need
Charge coverage: Unit charge nurse responsibilities may be needed with provided training and resources.
Unit Specific Information
Floating Requirements: Unit travelers may be expected to float to different levels of care (Med-Surg, PCU, ICU) with resources provided if needed at both University and Methodist Hospitals
