The breast center technologist is accountable for the provision of effective and high-quality imaging with mammography and related procedures to demonstrate anatomic images for interpretation by or at the request of a licensed practitioner.
The breast center technologist provides appropriate patient care essential for successful completion of the procedure, while adhering to professional practices and assuring a healthy work environment.
Job Requirements
Graduate of an Accredited Program of Radiological Technology.
Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists in Radiography.
Must have Mammography Certification.
Basic Life Support Certification.
Meet & maintain MQSA requirements.
Breast ultrasound experience.
