The Role in Detail

As a Speech Language Pathologist at Powerback, you play a pivotal role in empowering your patients. Your expertise and support enable them to communicate, swallow, and overcome or mitigate disorders or deficits. You will take charge of offering effective and efficient rehabilitation services, crafting the therapeutic plan, and working with patients to execute those plans.

You're more than just a specialist in your field – you're a healer and a helper. You are competent in dealing with patients holistically, seeing them as unique individuals, and designing a program to rejuvenate, reinforce, and enhance their speech and communication abilities. Adaptability comes naturally to you, as you cater to the individual needs of patients and find satisfaction in the diversity of the work and the settings.

Being proactive, you partake in various tasks from equipment sanitation to attending meetings, thriving in an environment that keeps you engaged. Eligibility Criteria

1. A Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, Communication Disorders, or similarly-titled fields compatible with the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association's standards.
2. A Certificate of Clinical Competence from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA), eligibility for ASHA Clinical Fellowship or candidates who are eligible for the Certificate of Clinical Competence.
3. Necessary licensure, certification, or accreditation as required in the state of practice.
