OVERVIEW

The Content Production System Administrator is responsible for serving as the system administrator for all systems used in content development and maintenance, such as the learning management systems, content management systems, and content authoring systems. The Content Production System Administrator must be detail-oriented, comfortable working with a variety of tools, and enjoy collaborating and working within a highly productive and agile environment. This position is part of the Media and Production team and will work cross-functionally with a large group of PreK-12 STEM subject matter experts and curriculum developers. Occasional travel required.


RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Lead the management of systems used in content development and maintenance (e.g., learning management systems and content authoring tools).
  • Assist with course development as it relates to effective use of the systems.
  • Manage versioning and maintenance of digital resources, links, and assets within a variety of online systems.
  • Provide functionality quality assurance to customer-facing content.
  • Work with PLTW Team Members across the organization to provide support (e.g., addressing instructional technology help tickets, sharing updates and timelines) as related to the systems.
  • Assist with testing and implementing new technologies.
  • Identify and recommend potential opportunities to incorporate innovative methods and emerging trends within area of expertise.
  • Other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor's degree in instructional design, education technology, computer science or a related field of study, or equivalent related experience.
  • Experience working in multiple learning management systems or content management systems.
