Integrated Fires Mission Command (IFMC) Software Product Owner (PO)

We are looking for an Integrated Fires Mission Command (IFMC) Software Product Owner (PO) to join our team to lead a team of Agile software developers supporting a Government project office.

Your day-to-day work will include:

• Reviewing/understanding Systems Engineering concepts/designs/algorithms and providing guidance to the development team.
• The PO will support the team in the development of acceptance criteria for software updates and be responsible for their verification.
• The PO will work with Program management in setting priorities for the capabilities and defects of the team for each product increment and sprint.
• The position will include technical briefings, demonstrations, and advisement to leadership.
• The PO will report on the status; recommended courses of action, competing capabilities, performance, risks, and impacts to the IFMC mission.

At a minimum you should have:

• An active SECRET security clearance and the ability to maintain.
• A bachelor's degree in a STEM field.
• The candidate must have a strong understanding of middleware software concepts and the following capabilities in a large system; logging, data harvest, thread management, IDL generation, and user interface utilities.
• The candidate must have experience working in an Agile software development environment
• Prior software experience in Java or C++
• Prior Linux experience (preferably Reed Hat) and bash scripting knowledge
• Must be fluent in the Microsoft Office toolset.
• Familiarity with the integration of third-party applications and requirements/communication with the Government about the requirements and desired outcome
• Experience in Jira/Confluence
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills

You will be highly desirable if you have:

• Knowledge of IBCS, PATRIOT, LTAMDS, THAAD, C2BMC, or AEGIS.
• The ability to move out and champion your ideas, architectures, designs, and enthusiasm
• Independent critical thinking and a positive attitude are very important.
• Experience with MBSE is a plus.

Estimated Salary Range:

• Intermediate: $107,000 - $130,000
• Senior: $140,000 - $180,000

The provided salary range serves as a broad reference. However, Intrepid takes various factors into account when establishing base salary offers, including the position's scope and responsibilities, as well as the candidate's experience, education, skills, and prevailing market conditions.
