RSi is looking to hire a Human Resources Coordinator to support our corporate operations. This position will support RSi’s leadership, and employees with all aspects of the employment life cycle. Customer service to the employee base is the number one priority of this position.

Duties/ Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for being the first level of HR for all inquiries from employees.
  • Facilitates the hiring process to include job postings, recruitment, selection, onboarding, welcome emails, orientation, training assignments, I9 verification, E-Verify, and state new hire reporting.
  • Administers health and welfare plans, including enrollments, changes, and terminations.
  • Processes required documents through payroll and insurance providers to ensure accurate record-keeping and proper deductions.
  • Coordinates and tracks company and contract required trainings for employees.
  • Performs customer service functions by answering employee requests and questions.
  • Completes I-9 forms, verifies I-9 documentation and maintains I-9 files.
  • Submits online investigation requests and assists with new-employee background checks.
  • Coordinates onboarding for NASA contract.
  • Reconciles benefits statements.
  • Conducts audits of payroll, benefits or other HR programs and recommends corrective action.
  • Assists with processing of terminations.
  • Assists with the preparation of the performance review process.
  • Assists with recruitment and interview process. Tracks status of candidates in HRIS, ADP Work Force Now, and responds with follow-up letters at the end of the recruiting process for assigned departments. Ensures all files are completed and are approved.
  • Schedules meetings and interviews as needed/requested.
  • Makes photocopies; mails, scans, and emails documents to ensure records are accurate.
  • Files documents into appropriate employee files.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.

Required Minimum Education/Experience/Certifications:

Experience using Microsoft excel, creating pivot tables and creating comparison reports.

Excellent time management skills.

Excellent communication, organization, and customer service skills.

Ability to multi-task and follow through with multiple assignments.

Bachelors degree in HR, business, communications or related field.

1 year of HR coordinator type experience.


Preferred Experience/Knowledge/Skills/Abilities/IT Skills/Certifications:

Experience as an administrator in a Human Resource Information Systems

Knowledge of employment law

Federal Contracting HR experience

Experience managing benefits

Work Environment:

Office environment
