We're looking for a skilled Welding and Abrasive Specialist to join our team. The Welding and Abrasive Specialist is responsible for providing technical support to the sales team across all Welding and Abrasive product lines. This individual will continually look for emerging technologies in the Welding and Abrasive industries that will enhance the product offering.

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Provide technical support to sales associates regarding Welding & Abrasives.
• Searches for emerging technologies in the industry that will enhance the product offering.
• Determine new technology fit with existing product line.
• Look for opportunities to expand product offerings.
• Develop strategic product plans.
• Other duties as assigned.
• Regional travel required some overnights.

Experience and Skills
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES REQUIRED TO BE SUCCESSFUL IN THIS POSITION:

• 5+ years of experience in the Welding industry.
• Certified Welding sales rep. (CWSR), Certified Welding Supervisor (CWS) or equivalent.
• Able to work with cross-functional teams to achieve company goals.
• Track record of managing a category across divisions/companies.
• Deep knowledge of pricing methodologies and relevant competitive markets.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
• Welding:2 years (required)
• High School Diploma or equivalent is required

Physical requirements:

• Operate a computer.
• Occasionally lift up to 15 lbs.
• Standing, sitting, bending, twisting occasionally.
