POSITION SUMMARY:
This position is responsible for creating the part requirements within the QMS system for each part # by reviewing the Customer purchase orders, specifications and drawings. This includes setting up the correct mechanical testing, heat treatment and inspections for each part # to ensure full compliance to the customer flow down requirements. In addition, this position is responsible for managing the Customer/Industry mposed specifications and ensuring they are getting reviewed by the appropriate parties.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Comprehensive review of customer requirements (customer purchase orders, drawings and specifications) and translate into internal metallurgical instructions.
• Prepare Metallurgical Process Instructions and Metallurgical Test Requirements in oracle based MSQS Database.
• Review, distribute and maintain customer specifications.
• Interact with external customers and internal departments.
• Help support the Certification group with compiling, reviewing and distributing certifications. This includes weekend support as needed.

KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS:
• Proficient in MS office including outlook, excel, word
• Ability to multi-tack in a fast-paced environment
• Experience in Oracle ERP is strongly preferred
• Design CAD experience preferred
• Ability to interpret blueprints is desirable
• Position requires a highly organized, self-motivated, accurate and detail-oriented individual
• Four-year College degree or equivalent experience

WORK CONDITIONS:
Office position with occasional time on the shop floor
