Description:

POSITION SUMMARY

The Process Improvement Manager is responsible for coordinating and implementing transformation projects that support long-term strategic goals. The Process Improvement Manager is a full-time, hands-on, dedicated influencer and integral role that supports all operation’s performance initiatives to maximize efficiency.

Essential Functions Statement(s)

  • Work alongside the regional Transformation Manager and is part of the Transformation Team
  • Perform data gathering, root cause analysis, and performance trending in order to develop Transformation projects and initiatives
  • Work with cross-functional stakeholders across the business to ensure successful implementation and completion of Transformation projects and initiatives
  • Work with cross-functional stakeholders to develop, update, and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
  • Analyze current process standards and metrics in order to provide solutions for standardization and improvements
  • Conduct interviews and facilitate meetings with business stakeholders to validate requirements and proposed changes to standard operating procedures (SOPs) and business processes
  • Implement and secure standard operating procedures (SOPs) within the organization by providing proper education and training on changes, updates and improvements to all cross-functional stakeholders
  • Drive SQDCC focus (safety, quality, delivery, cost, cash)
  • Other duties as assigned


Qualifications:

SKILLS & ABILITIES

Education: Prefer Bachelor's Degree (four-year college/university) Business, Finance, Engineering or any related field preferred

Experience: 3-5 years of experience in Project Management, Business Development/Finance or Supply Chain

Computer Skills: Must have Strong Analytical skills and strong ability with Google and Microsoft products

Certifications & Licenses: Black Belt or LEAN certification – with hands on project completions a plus

Other Requirements:

  • Analytical problem solving: Able to identify problems; apply structured and disciplined methodology to identify root cause using data
  • Pragmatic, Innovative and effective solution development, risk mitigation and execution
  • Hands-on experience with SMART problem and goal statements, process mapping, process capability analysis, failure mode and effects analysis, benchmarking, control charts, and standardized work
  • Ability to travel to multiple locations up to 75%
