Responsible for the safe preparation and painting of parts and equipment.
Paint products using appropriate skills including, but not limited to, brush, roller, and spray equipment.
Use safe working practices as directed.
Performs assigned tasks under the direction of the Assembly Manager or their designate and participates as an effective crewmember.
Bring technical problems encountered to the Assembly Manager or their designate for resolution.
Work to improve efficiency to achieve productivity and delivery goals.
Organize and maintain personal and company tools, equipment, and work area in a professional manner.
Responsible to follow all applicable company and corporate policies, procedures and programs, including but not limited to the process map, support processes, safety and environmental requirements.
Other duties as assigned.
SKILLS & EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
Level I
High School graduate or GED preferred.
Must have a minimum of two years' experience in industrial or automotive coatings application or demonstrate equivalent experience in mechanical assembly processes, surface preparation techniques, painting techniques, including: conventional spraying, brush and roller application, anti-corrosion zincing and priming.
Must be capable of lifting up to 50 pounds.
Meet company standards for pulmonary and respiratory functions.
