Mechanical Assembler

Job Description

We are seeking an evening shift detail oriented and reliable Mechanical Assembler to join our team. This manufacturing role will consist of twisting and griding metal Kenics parts, as well as monitoring equipment and performing measurements, adjusting the machines, troubleshooting, and correcting errors. Experience with material traceability (detail oriented), batch production and mechanical aptitude will be a big plus in this role. Knowledge of Hydraulics, Pneumatics, linear/proximity switches as well as ladder logic will be a standout skill set.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Execute and document activities in compliance with SOP requirements.
• Reads blueprints, calipers and other measuring instruments, records dimensions, and other details on production logs.
• Cleans and maintains work area and equipment, including tools.
• Maintains a safe working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.
• Leaning, reaching, for periods of time may be required.
• Overtime and occasional weekends will be required as needed.
• Support all NOV HSE policies and procedures.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE QUALIFICATION:

• High School diploma or equivalent
• Background in industrial machinery assembly required
• Must be able to read assembly blueprints in English format.
• Forklift skills required
• Material handling experience required
• Must be able to lift 50 pounds
• Minimum of 18 years of age.
