Industrial Maintenance Technician

We are looking for an Industrial Maintenance Technician who has extensive experience in primarily electrical components, troubleshooting and diagnosing problems on machinery and in preventive maintenance.

Job Title: Industrial Maintenance Technician
Location: Houston, TX 77066
Shift: 6am to 2:30pm Mondays to Fridays
Pay: 20-25/hr + benefits

What’s the Job?

• Performs various duties to maintain production machines and facility equipment.
• Scheduled preventive maintenance
• Emergency service on equipment
• Detect faulty machine operations
• Diagnose machine problems
• Replace and repair parts
• Run test on machines and adjust as needed

• HS Diploma/GED, able to lift up to 50lbs. throughout shift, manufacturing background.
• Electrical: Single/three phase experience, multimeter, troubleshooting, able to explain their approach to problem solving
• Able to read technical drawings (operation manuals, equipment manuals, etc.)
• Able to use hand, power, pneumatic, measurements and material handling tools. Although not required
• The ability to speak Spanish is preferred
• Ability to operate a lathe is a bonus
• Other knowledge we seek in a candidate: Plumbing experience, commercial HVAC
