Effective Immediately, New York Temporary Health Care Service Agency License/Registration Certificate required with all Glens Falls Hospital nursing submissions.

As of 1/1/2024 - ALL new AND returning agency staff must have completed training from Welle or CPI for onboarding and clearance.
COVID vaccinations encouraged, but not required.
Job Requirements
3-5 YEARS CURRENT EPIC EXPERIENCE REQUIRED - THIS IS NON-NEGOTIABLE
2+ years current L&D/LDRP experience
2+ years Post Partum experience
Must be able to care for laboring mothers
Mother/Baby experience
Epic Experience
All certificates active & current
Ability to read & interpret EFM
Travel experience encouraged

NO MORE THAN 5 DAYS OF RTO WILL BE ACCEPTED (less is better).
Unit Specific Information
Unit Details: The Snuggery, Level 1, patient census: average 90-100 deliveries per month
EMR: EPIC
Not required to circulate or scrub cesarean sections
Responsible for baby in OR, and mother in PACU with a second nurse
A shared leadership model encourages nursing engagement and decision making at the bedside
Additional Details
Traveler candidate must have their own vehicle.
NO BLOCK SCHEDULING WILL BE CONSIDERED FOR THIS NEED
Clinician MUST be reliable! No attendance concerns, call outs, etc... - very patient oriented Unit
