Requirements:
The following criteria are required for all therapists and counselors interested in joining Talkspace:
- An independent, state-board-verified clinical license (e.g., LPC, LMHC, LCSW, LMFT)
- An individual professional malpractice liability insurance policy
- A fully completed, signed CAQH application
- Personal NPI number
- Present residence in the USA
Remuneration:
At Talkspace, we maintain an open pay policy. Therapists are compensated at $67.90 per hour for live sessions while rates for shorter live sessions (30- and 45-minutes) are prorated. Asynchronous messaging rates vary depending on client plans - for additional details, refer to our "Applicant Info Page" on our application form. A monthly bonus ranging from $100 to $4,000 is available based on the average clinical hours you spend with clients on the platform each week, beginning at 3 weekly hours of client engagement.

Talkspace is an online platform linking mental health therapists and counselors with clients in their licensed state(s) via a user-friendly, HIPAA-compliant app. Talkspace acts as a liaison, connecting you with clients and verifying their insurance eligibility. Communicate with your clients through text, video, and audio messages at any time, from virtually anywhere. The platform also supports live sessions through video, audio, and messaging.

Talkspace therapists work from remote locations, liaising only with clients in the state(s) where they are licensed and authorized to practice.
