We're in search of a qualified Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to undertake medical reviews for U.S. Veterans as an integral component of the VA’s disability benefits procedure.
In fulfilling your Disability Assessment duties, you'll evaluate electronic medical records via an online portal and conduct a comprehensive physical examination for each Veteran in person. The necessary exam findings for the VA will be documented electronically via the same web portal.
It must be noted that the Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant DOES NOT get involved with disability determinations. That task is solely up to the U.S. Veterans Administration. The role ONLY involves carrying out Disability Assessments on Veterans. There is NO requirement for treatment or prescription of any medicines in this position.
This position will carry out Disability Assessments on 3-5 Veterans a day. The schedule is full-time, Monday to Friday, from 8 am to 5 pm and is strictly an in-person role.

-Capacity to draw meaningful insights from the medical records and exam results for questionnaire completion and forming medical opinions.
-Effective time management prowess to stay focused and meet requisite demands.
-Should be proficient at using a computer.
Essential Requirements:
-Holds a valid and unrestricted Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant (accredited by NCCPA) license.
-Meets the credentialing demands set by the VA.
