We're currently looking for a Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI) Physician to become a part of our extraordinary team. Details of the TBI Physician opening include: - Expected start date: ASAP - Pay rate: $1100/day - Expected duration of assignment: As Required - Expected working hours: 8 hours per day - Opt for Day one Medical Benefits for increased peace of mind The daily roles of the TBI Physician will include: - Conducting mostly interview-based exams, with some physical assessment, such as range of motion and muscle strength testing along with evaluating traumatic brain injuries. The examinations will comprise both General Medicine and Traumatic Brain Injury. - No treatment prescriptions required - Utilization of Goniometer compulsory - Familiarity with Musculoskeletal, Diabetes, and Cardiovascular conditions - Proficiency in METs testing and diagnosing respiratory, cardiovascular, and neurological conditions - Training for all Reporting/Disability Benefits Questionnaires (DBQs) will be provided - Reporting/DBQs must be submitted via a standardized form(s) within 48 hours after exam completion, there will be no need for a narrative report - Evaluations will be conducted in VES's provider portal and records reviewed Qualifications for the TBI Physician role: - Board Certification in any of these specialities: Neurology, Neurosurgery, PM&R is mandatory - Candidates should be Board Certified or eligible for certification within three years post-residency - Proficiency in METs testing and diagnosing respiratory, cardiovascular, and neurological conditions is required - Willingness to conduct General Medicine and TBI examinations - Personal laptop ownership essential (excluding Mac/Apple products) - Full license that is active and unrestricted - Openness to complete DMA training for DMA certification - ECFMG certification photocopy will be required if the applicant studied overseas
